Diving for Kids

If you are on a family holiday and you want to give your kids some wonderful memories that will stay with them for life, then a Bubble Makers dive can be a great way to do that. The participants need to be at least 8 years old. We take them down to a shallow water scuba dive of just a few meters to explore and get a few breaths under the water. If you feel nervous about sending your kids out for diving, please do not worry. Our experienced instructors will look after the budding scuba divers with the utmost care and you can also join them if you wish.

We believe in the philosophy of ‘Small is Beautiful’ so the group size is a maximum of 4 students. This allows our instructors to have their full focus on all the Jr. students and make sure that they are comfortable and enjoy their time with the fish. The day starts with some gentle theory followed by a shallow water dive in one of the lovely bays around the island. The Jr. divers will see fish and coral from this shallow water dive and photography and video can be arranged to record their special experience.

Kid over 10 years of age who enjoy this experience, can continue with the Jr. Open water dive course by making 4 more dives over the next two days, which allows them to dive to a depth of 12 meters. The course starts at 9.30am. and is for only half a day.

Let your children to experience something special, enroll them in on our Bubble Maker course. Kids normally take to the water better than adults and they will enjoy playing with scuba to a depth of only 2 meters. Children as young as 8 can be introduced to beautiful underwater world. Moreover, they will have a great story to tell their friends about learning scuba diving in Havelock when they get back to school!
